Introduction of cultural relics

Qi Baishi (1864—1957) named himself Qi Huang with his pseudonym Baishi Shanren. He was born in Xiangtan of Hunan. He painted landscape, figures and birds & flowers with his own creation. Especially he was famous for his freehand brushwork of red-flower & dark- leaves. This painting is shades affordable with rich ink. The ocher pumpkin has a sharp contrast to the dark leaves. There is a dragonfly in the cirrus, mixed but not confused. The total painting is full of vigor.
