Wan Shouqi (1603—1652) styled himself Ruo or Nianshao, and he changed his name to Shou and styled himself Neijing, and called himself Mingzhi Daoren or Shamen Huishou after the demise of Ming Dynasty. He was born in Tongshan of Xuzhou. He was good at poems, calligraphy and painting along with knowing seal cutting, Qin, chess, iambic verse, drama and embroidery. This painting is delicate in lines, exquisite in colors, peaceable in spirit and novel in inscribing a poem.
