Weng Jianqing, the professor and doctoral tutor of School of Arts Peking University, the director of Institution of Public Art Peking University, the doctor of art history of Art Institution of Tsinghua University and the member of China Artists Association. He has engaged in the research of modern Chinese and foreign art history and art criticism. He has published academic monograph: “The Concept and Orientation of Public Art”, “Urban Public Art”, “Form and Meaning: Chinese Traditional Art”, “Art in the Landscape”. Moreover, Weng has published 90 thesises. His paintings has been exhibited in Beijing, Paris, Tokyo, Vijay Busk, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok and so on.
